Moving a slide deletes changes

If I change a slide and move it (without saving the changes) my changes are lost (which I can understand). But it would be nice if the program would ask me if I want to save my changes before the slide is moved and my changes are gone.

The whole slide becomes so difficult to understand that I am always struggling to understand half of the lecture following the most simple examples.
